Awakened: The SSS-Rank Thunder God
Long dismissed as worthless by everyone around him, a young man discovers he has awakened an SSS-rank Thunder God power that no one ever imagined he could possess. As old humiliations come back to haunt him, he must decide how far he will go to prove his doubters wrong and claim the place in the world they always denied him.
Director Vos is here! This is Tyler, the student who awakened at A-Rank. And this is Director Voss of Ashford Academy. You're Tyler?
Director Voss, sir. A true prodigy. You are the greatest talent in our Academy's history. Ashford Academy is proud of you.
Director Voss, I've heard that A-plus gets you direct admission into Eridon. So I'd like to test again, to see if my talent is A-plus or A-minus. Tyler, you are Ashford Academy's treasure. Whatever you need, we will do our best to accommodate.
But the machine has a fixed number of tests. Running another one would take someone else's slot. Is any student willing to give up their slot for this genius? On behalf of Ashford Academy, I will remember your contribution to greatness
What? No one? Nate, why don't you give your slot to me? No, no way. This test determines the federal gifted selection. I need to get into a gifted academy. I can't give up my slot.
